Awesome 23k Trail Run at Lac Philippe - a fundraiser organized by XC Zone guys for Ray Zahab and I2P... tons of people showed up for the wickedly hot and hilly run! Floated in the Lake and had a picnic on the beach after... very civilized way to spend a Sunday morning!

Awesome loop of wolf trail with a 2k warm up/2k cool down - out with the Tuesday night trail running crew - muddy and rainy run - someone tripped me by accident and totally split the palm of my hand open... La Femme came back to my place after to feel me scotch while we cleaned it out and Krazy glued it back together!

YEAH!!! I 55 min run and no IT band pain - this is very exciting! Was a good girl and iced and foam rollered as soon as I got home...

Note - took today off work - so played in the sun and heat all day!

swimming 25:00 [3]

First swim workout since IMC 2008 - went up to Meech to 1) see if I could still swim and 2) to see if my wetsuit would still fit... thank god I can say yes to both as I'm doing a Half Ironman in 12 days! ha!

Ps - I actually LOVE swimming - I should swim more.

Pps - then we went to spa nordik and did nothing but spa and nap for four hours... ahhh....
