Mtn run with Nicki and our new friend Chelsea. Up Moose Mtn Rd - ran about 90% of it. Then up Moose Mtn Trail ...can't believe this is my first time up there. Deep snow had my back aching a bit so took a few ibu and was good. Run down Moose Rd to Sulphur/Elbow loop + extra little triangle and down. GREAT DAY!! Felt surprising strong and good the whole day. Had a really easy week last week so was rearing to go. Yahhhh I think the training is taking effect .....
Two times up Prairie Mtn. Really watched clock and tried to hammer. No stops for the whole thing!!
First time up: 1:04 to top
Run down: 28min (Flew! Snow helps. No pause or stop)
2nd time up: 1:01 (Whoohoo! Didn't take a single pause the whole way. Just couldn't make myself run the last bit to the top. Oh well now have a goal to break an hour).
Run down: 34min ..... was definitely starting to feel some tiredness and sore quads.
(Suffer fest Tues/Weds - quads killing for all out down hills)
