Helensfield to Oakley and back plus a bit extra on the flat bits. Less climb than I thought there was.
I was dreading this, but it turned out much better than I expected. Easterly wind but not as strong as last week, snow showers (some quite heavy) but dry snow so didn't get wet.
Felt much better than last week, although not quite as good as a few weeks' back.
Taped both pfs and tibialisses. felt much better, nothing hurt the whole time!!!!!
tired by the end, but was trying quite hard all the way

still tired though. r quad hurting (has been on and off for a while, largely through over-compensating for sore left foot ankle), but l foot / ankle seemed fine today, surprising given how sore it was from 70 mins yesterday and how swollen the whole foot was last night. it was starting to tire though by the end of today

paths mostly snow-free but not entirely.
snowing heavily, starting to lie by the end - slippy up the hill
I was freezing cold by the end - coldest I've been all winter I think.
left ankle worse than yesterday morning

Note

Saw Lesley this afternoon. the tibialis anterior muscle and tendon is inflamed, possibly the tendon sheath as well, and the ankle joint is stiff - rest of joints fine.
Keep running within reason. keep icing. use kenesio tape. no strengthening. avoid downhills, even walking. see her again next week if need be.
I was very happy to have a rest this afternoon since feeling rather tired after this morning's freeze-fest.
