knee seemed worse this morning - it feels stiffer, especially at the back (baker's cyst again) however, it felt good going up the Golf course and almost ended up running
probably averaging at least 2 hours of Storm-walking a day, but have kept it largely flat this week. knee feeling bad yesterday, but a bit better today. still not much noticeable improvement over 5 weeks ago though
guesstimate for the time Shadowing Emma at Fallin O event - on and off bits of very slow pseudo-jogging jogging slowly along a path for 100m is definitely better than sprinting round an agility course
agility knee itself was feeling OK, but pain travelling up the thigh again, either femur-related or quad-related, not sure which. on the other hand, the course was longer than last week, and I could run more of it, if I ignored the sore thigh issue a week of minimal exercise has made no change whatsoever other than possibly worse :-(
Orienteering at Abbey Craig with Scarlett and Rachel ran the occasional bit, but mostly walked or waited for them while they did loops by themselves also did a good 2 hours walking with Storm this morning on cycle path from Helensfield
week 3 /8 of trying not to overdo things. mainly behaved myself, but shouldn't have done King's Seat. at agility today, was definitely able to run better than two weeks ago, but still not enough to even run round the full course.
down to Golf Club, then Auchlinsky loop anti-clockwise 2h55 in total definitely a good idea to avoid coming down Hillfoot Hill track - the descent down Auchlinsy was much better for my knees quads sore from yesterday
unplanned ascent of King's Seat from Golf Club took 1 hour to get up and 50 mins to get back home again shouldn't have done this though - knee still feeling that it wasn't a good idea - but it was a nice day and I need to try and keep feeling that life is worth living.
light rucksack down to Golf club to see girls over road, then W side of Glen, Glen Quey, Auchlinsky 3 hours total (of which prob 10 mins stops to talk to people) knee fine on uphill and flat, still not happy on downhill, especially not Hillfoot Hill track.
