Perth swimming pool. wouldn't recommend it! there was this random current thing which meant that the only way to get a decent swim was to swim into the current, effectively staying still, just like on a treadmill. very boring. everyone else obviously wasn't there to actually swim as they just floated along and let the current do all the work, and then presumably wondered why they're still obese.
drove round first half of marathon route. lots of hills!
also did lots of loops round Dunblane following diversion signs which somebody obviously thought funny to put in circles so that you ended up coming back to where you started. Can't trust the locals!!

Clackmannan end of cycle path towards Dunfermline for 16.1k then back. feeling good to start with, feeling good on the first section of climb, struggling a bit by the end of the climb, struggling around 18 - 24 k, then got second wind for the last few k.
