Stirling marathon
Going fine until calves started to seize up at about 14k. Then had to take it carefully to avoid cramping. Ended up running a bit like a crab - very bent knees and using my quads to do most of the work. A bit frustrating, since the rest of me could have pushed a lot harder, but at least I didn't cramp up totally!
Calves have been feeling tight and a bit funny for the last two weeks when at rest but fine when walking or running, so I was hoping it was all in my mind - obviously not!
