Gold practice Day 4 out to Dalwhinnie
On my own the whole time after cooking the group breakfast after poor overnight weather conditions meant they got very little sleep. Stormed along Loch Ericht at sub 10 min kms, which was fairly moving with exped rucksack and walking boots. Only 14k and 100m odd climb but all at my own pace. Very grateful that Dave went to meet the group for me.

Gold practice Day 3 - Benalder Cottage to 2k NE of Culra Lodge.
With the group for first 7k teaching compass bearings etc, then on my own for 10k, again with extra looking for a campsite. Really tired by the end. Only covered about 19k and 400m climb, but knackered by the time I finally decided on a campsite and went to meet the group.

Gold practice Day 2 - Bridge of Gaur to Benalder Cottage
Walked with the group for the first 6k teaching nav, then went at my own pace for the next 11k. Then had to wander round a bog looking for a decent campsite before giving up and camping right at Benalder Cottage, and then went back to meet the group. Briefly considered climbing Ben Alder after tea to get a phone signal, but quickly abandoned the idea. Probably covered about 22k, 400m.

Gold practice Day 1 - S side of Loch Rannoch to Bridge of Gaur
Ran the route, then carried extremely heavy rucksack uphill for 2 k, then went to find the group, then climbed a hill to get a phone signal which I was very pleased about. Covered a lot of distance today - about 29k and approx. 900m.

Storm's first interval session? Unplanned ints at Glenquey. Times approx. because I had my normal watch with me and didn't even time the first one at all so have given it the same time as the third one which was same leg but run back to front.

approx. 5 min jog from reservoir to start of road and same on return
approx. 2 mins jog at end to stiles
