Skiing 2:15:00 [3]

Beautiful day at Whistler. Definitely one of the best ski days. Still some powder left and not all skied out. Short lines. Met a friend from high school who's working up there again for the winter. New boots were awesome once I figured out the optimal tightness set up. Quads were definitely not happy by the end of the day. Oh well. More skiing required to get legs back in shape :-)

To the climbing gym and back. First exercise since I was relieved of my wisdom teeth. All good, just feeling fat and unfit. Beautiful day. Had to come back via the seawall in the dark because I forgot my lights...

Climbing 45:00 [3]

Climbing with Pascal, Big Jon, Little John, and Jocelyne. Fun day. Pascal suggested I do a 10b, where the first 2 holds were on either side of a door frame. Hmm, yeah, sure. Of course once I started I didn't want to give up. Spent about 20 minutes getting half way up before my arms died. Bonus was that I ran up the 5.9 I did next... well sort of ran up... my arms were pretty shot. Fun day with good people.

Wisdom teeth extraction day... went well. Now I nasty stitches in my mouth, and am eating soup and jelly! Diet success! Pascal is almost being nice. He made me pea soup (from a can), then proceeded to fry onions and ham to eat with his portion (which I can't eat yet). So close...

It was so beautiful when I woke up this morning that I felt too bad not to take advantage.... so I cycled up the hill. It was not pleasant... apparently when you don't train you lose fitness... who knew! Respectable time though (time logged includes there ~ 23min, and ~5mins back where I wasn't just flying down the hill)

It's official ~ on November 14th I will officially be a Canadian citizen! Unfortunately I'm getting my wisdom teeth out on the 9th, so I hope the swelling is gone.. chipmunk photos alert!

Physio tonight - finally. She said something about my pelvis being out of alignment, so she put it back and gave me some exercises to sort that. She also said my ankle was tight, but could be due to pelvis... Go back in 2 weeks to figure out what the actual problem is... fun times!

Gym 35:00 [3]

Yoga from a DVD... guy was going way too fast, so I skipped half the poses. I don't think holding a pose for 3 seconds does much, other than stress you out!

Must do more... getting lazy. Hate that I can't run. Too wet/leafy to cycle safely right now. Don't trust Vancouver drivers....
