Various strengthy things in the gym. Cross Training class was taking up half the gym, so had to leave some things out since I couldn't get to the equipment. Note to self - don't go to gym Mon/Wed/Fri AMs... have to find a different schedule.
Cold and crisp, perfect day for a ride! Went up Fromme for one run. It was a little on the tricky side, so we headed over to Richard Juryne trail. Did a loop, then played down the Bayden Powell and the fun woods. Stopped for coffee on the way home. Didn't agree with me, so ended up throwing up when I got home. It's been a while since that last happened...
Gym with Pascal. We were actually there for 2 hours, as he was teaching me my routine that his personal trainer made for me. There's some work to do... but man is the gym ever boring...
Orienteering at Deep Cove. Awesome farsta set by Louise. Few hesitations and poor route choices in the beginning, but got smoother once I started running slower :-) walked some pavement parts, but the leg held up pretty well.
Nice afternoon jog with Rachel. 3 times around the park at 16th. IT band was tight and sore at 25 minutes. Calf also tight. Let's see what the chiro says tomorrow.
Lead my first climb... ever. I was told initially it was a 5.6. OK, sounds good. Turns out it was a 5.7, about 3 degrees out, and had been raining all night. My fingers were very numb and the wall was somewhat mossy. It was fairly terrifying! We did get to rappel into a cave of pigeons... yay??
Tour de Van - seawall bike tour with Pascal's parents. We biked for nearly 2.5 hrs, but at slow pace. Knee was not happy at all by the end. Follow up with Chiro on Tuesday to see if the realignments he did on Friday stick...
