Ran once around Deer Lake with Louise and Carol, and then left them to do a second loop. My shoes don't fit right, so it's really uncomfortable when I run... buying insoles is on the to do list!
WET at False Creek. The running felt good today. Orienteering wasn't too bad. Controls were a little hidden, so I felt slow finding and coming out of control locations. I feel that I'm getting smoother though, and finally improving!
Why Just Run at SFU mountain. I really enjoyed the course, lots of places you could get stuck. I was very pleased with my orienteering, as I thought I made good choices, didn't get stuck in any dead ends. Made a couple of small errors, but nothing terrible. I just got to work on the fitness!
Orienteering at Vanier Park with Meghan. Definitely would not have run the whole course if Meg hadn't been pulling me along. Need to fit some more training in somewhere....
Run around Deer Lake. Apparently running 10 minutes after you eat is a really bad idea, but I wanted to be done before it got dark. Nice chilly winter day.
