Running 27:00 [3]

Running to work fail. Ended up taking the bus part way. Sore stomach and sore leg... possibly a combo of too much breakfast eaten too soon before running, heavy bag, and calve/quad still a little sore from skiing. Did a good 7 minute tempo over the Cambie Bridge

Usual gym routine. 15 minutes of stretching.

Whistler! Reasonable day. Snow was very wet and heavy. Found some fun tree runs in the afternoon. Super tired after lunch, but woke up and skied until last chair.

Climbing with Linda and others at Cliffhanger. Lots of double climbs to build up summer endurance. Did a 10d! Good day.

cycling 30:00 [3]

Circuit 8 with Pascal. First spin on his new bike. He just finished building it today, and he seems to love it (thank god!) I've been sick all week, including 2 days off work, so this plus climbing was probably not the best idea. Now I'm tired. Gorgeous day though, and great to be riding again :-)

Took Tuesday and Wednesday off work. Tired with a cold. Jus had no energy. Achievement of the day was moving from bed to couch and making lots of tea and toast.

Got to work at 8:30, so had 45 minutes for gym and stretching. Lovely!

Skiing 1:15:00 [3]

Birthday ski on Cypress with Pascal. It was foggy, it was wet, and if I hadn't gotten a free ticket I wouldn't have skied! Some parts were nice, but most of the snow was either slush or super sticky. Found some nice runs.

Met lots of lovely friends for dinner and cake!

Cold... sneezing has increased through-out the day, and now I'm just fatigued and stuffy. Hopefully I don't lose my voice, as I really don't want to have to take time off work.

Gym. Nice day for a workout.

Post-work run with Dan. It was pretty slow, and I didn't really get my heart rate up enough to justify logging this as exercise, but it was wonderful to get out in the sunshine after work. It's not dark in the evenings anymore! The weather was beautiful!

Orienteering 30:00 [3]

Orienteering at Jericho. I was running with a map, so I have that going for me! Didn't bother running out to some of the out and back controls, and skipped the last 3 altogether. Bit of "ok, going to that huge rock next" (+1 if you know which rock I'm referring to!). Still nice to be out running!

At Whistler. Not the best day ever. Thin cover of powder with ice underneath. Made for tough conditions. Crystal chair was down for most of the morning (boo). Then it took us 5 hours to get home because there was a shit ton of traffic and people can't drive in the snow...

Lead test, which we both passed, and then some climbing. Did 10 climbs, but failed to finish 3 of them. Tired and not fueled properly. Nice to get out though.
