Why just run at Rice Lake. Slow and unsure race. Slow due to lots of fallen trees and worn down shoes (no grip). Unsure due to lack of experience in forest.
Good points:
Didn't get lost!
Moved at a steady (slow) speed
Running on trails was good
Chose attackpoints and catching features
Bad points:
Didn't execute route choices well
Before Barebones:
Off-trail running
Forest training
Trying to find time to do these!
