Orienteering 56:00 [3]

Wet WET at Deep Cove. I couldn't see a thing, since my glasses were fogged up almost immediately. My orienteering was pretty disjointed, since I had to stop, wipe glasses, look at map, wipe glasses, run in approximate direction, wipe glasses, look at map again, try to find yellow flag in fresh green undergrowth, etc....

But I did get out for a run! And I love running in the rain. It's the stopping and getting cold that's the problem!

cycling 37:51 [3] 12.5 km (3:02 / km)

Cycled to work. Nice cool day. Legs felt good, but tired by the viaduct.
5 PM

cycling 48:00 [3] 12.5 km (3:50 / km)

Cycled home from work, with a quick stop off at Trout Lake to see Sari! Good job I cycled... skytrain issues meant I would have had to walk otherwise. Apparently someone threw themselves in front of the train...

Orienteering 1:31:30 [3]

Sage Stomp Long. Was doing great until long leg #7 - lots of climb. I think I was really near the control, but the feature wasn't as prominant as I thought it would be... relocation assistance courtesy of Bruce Rennie (apparently I was the 3rd person he helped on that leg!). Rest of the race was fine. Running felt much better today... ran almost all the course, apart from the hills.

Overall am happy with the weekend from my orienteering skills view. I spiked a bunch of controls, and was able to confidently read the contours. Made a few mistakes, but more good controls than bad. Now I just need to get fit....
