Running 31:40 [3]

Met my goal of 5 lunch time runs this week, since I knew I wouldn't have much time for anything else! Running in Vancouver winter wonderland... a sprinkle of snow on the trees and ground, lots of slush, massive snow balls melting and falling from the trees, and trails turned to swamps. I got wetter than Wednesday when it was raining!

Did my swordfern/douglas fir/swordfern/salish route, but cut it a little short. Low energy and heavy legs. Could have been the snow, or I could be getting sick...

Running 33:24 [3]

Lunch time run. Same route as yesterday, but less wet and windy!

Running 34:19 [3]

First rainy lunch time run. Made a bee line for PSP to escape the worst of the wind. Swordfern, Douglas Fir, Swordfern, Salish, Swordfern. Good to get out!

We're picking up the keys for our new place this evening! Yay!

Running 30:00 [3]

Lunch time run. Did I say how much I enjoy these?! Still don't feel 100% in these shoes, but kinda tempted just to stick them out.

Running 37:00 [3]

Lunch time run at UBC. Testing out the new shoes, so dry pavement only! They feel good, although I have a little toe strain on my right 2nd, 3rd, and 4th toe. I think the angle of the sole under the toe is steeper than last years model, so I'm not sure if this is something I'll get used to, or if I need to get a different pair. They fit great otherwise!

Running was OK. Not my best effort!

Note

So I did bugger all this weekend. Going to be interesting to hit 4 hours this week. Lots of lunch time runs me thinks :) I could make excuses, but really I was just lazy. And busy (sort of) with packing and celebrating Pascal's birthday.
