Climbing 45:00 [3]

Lead test, which we both passed, and then some climbing. Did 10 climbs, but failed to finish 3 of them. Tired and not fueled properly. Nice to get out though.

Climbing 45:00 [3]

Good climbing day with Linda. Did 11 climbs, including 1 up and down climb, and 3 double climbs.... this climbing thing is getting much easier, and therefore much more fun! Didn't feel fatigued today. Rest week was a good thing, by the looks of it.

Hopefully Pascal and I will get to do our lead climbing test on Saturday, then skiing in Whistler on Sunday. Back to the gym next week Mon/Wed/Fri, climbing Thursday, maybe I'll even show up to orienteering instead of just spending 2-3 hours a day on related admin work....

Climbing 20:00 [3]

Lead climbing course at Cliffhanger with Pascal. Yes, he lost enough weight that we can now safely climb together, yay for him!

It was tough and a little scary. Had to take some big falls. It was, however, nothing compared to our lead climbing adventure in Skaha in November... so that's good!

Physically, climbing was tough. I ended up rainbowing most of my climbs, which was actually kind hard since the holds were not then optimally placed for me to get up as easily as I thought. By the last climb I was pooped! Easy week this week... which means no running to work, easy gym sessions, and probably some biking if it stops snowing. Seriously, only in Vancouver can it snow for nearly 12 hours straight with about 1cm on the ground... it's nuts!
