Mountain Biking 1:20:00 [3]

Biking at Pitmedden Forest. Pretty tame single track compared to some of the stuff we've done; read Pascal was bored and I thought it was great! Not too steep, lots of ups and downs, and blueberries everywhere! Gorgeous day for a ride.

Climbing 20:00 [3]

Climbing with Peter and Pascal at Glasgow Climbing Centre. Very cool place in an old church. Lots of lead climbing, but you have to bring your own rope. Belay test took around 40 seconds. I did the test and became a day member. Signed in Peter and Pascal, who could Belay too without a test, as I was responsible for them... I could see the people at Cliffhanger cringing...

Climbing was fun. Lots of interesting routes. No idea what I climbed, since the rating system is different to Canada. Fun evening out!

Mountain Biking 2:00:00 [3]

Biking at Comrie Croft. Tootled around the bike skills park for about an hour. Turns out I suck at berms and other features, but I can pedal up rocks and roots like there's no tomorrow... Vancouver riding for you!

Then we bikes up and rode the red and blue down trails. More downhill than XC. Fun, but I prefer the more technical stuff. Beautiful views and a beautiful day. Still suffering jet lag, so not feeling confident enough to tackle some of the more challenging stuff.

Mountain Biking 1:15:00 [3] 14.9 km (5:02 / km) +430m 4:24 / km

Biking in Scotland. Rode from my parents house up Kinnoull Hill and Deuchny Woods. Lots of fun single track to play on. The climbs were really tough, which I'm putting down to jet lag. Back just before it started raining!
