Short run around the neighbourhood with the new insoles. Felt like I was running with a large rock in my shoe, the insole is very, I guess, supportive. Took a while to get used to and we'll see if it helps.
Saw a physio this morning again, as recommended by Kate. After taking a look at my legs/feet/hips he thinks my running issues are due to my feet pronating. He recommended I buy some off-the-shelf insoles and see how they go. Back again next week for a follow up... let's see how this all goes. I just want to run!
