Running 15:00 [3] 3.59 km (4:11 / km)

Legs a bit tired from the meet, nothing major.

Will probably be stepping up to 20 minutes tomorrow.

Biking 30:30 [3] 11.15 km (2:44 / km) +1421m 1:40 / km

Tried for a harder workout: 3 minutes hard one easy, then 2 hard, one easy, and then one and one.

Hard consisted of the bike at 25 resistance and easy was at 1, though i still tried to keep speed up on down times.

Biking 15:00 [3] 7.27 km (2:04 / km) +506m 1:32 / km

Fifteen minute cooldown bike. Still felt fairly good after previous workout, so I'll try to push it harder tomorrow

Orienteering race 40:27 [5] 4.4 km (9:12 / km)

Two major mistakes, one major one minor.

2 minutes lost to number seven when I managed to misread a rather simple control. Ended up going down a river I just needed to pass by, took a while to correct myself and added some climb to the leg too.

30 seconds lost at 9 when I crossed the wrong spur and hit 10 instead. I've heard this mistake was somewhat common, nut I'm not sure.

Orienteering race 1:57:00 [5] 9.9 km (11:49 / km)

One major parallel error mostly due to my not realizing just how soon I left a reentrant.

Fairly similar terrain meant it took way too long for me to realize my mistake and reorient.

Friday Apr 5, 2013 #

Orienteering race 20:24 [5] 2.8 km (7:17 / km)

Two major screw-ups, both probably due to fatigue:

11: The first map folding error I've ever made, ended up thinking I was going to 12 instead of 11. I realized the mistake, but by then had lost track of where I was.

22: Made a 90 error, ended up running off to the wrong side of a wooded area.
