SARRC Trail Run
7:08 AM. Glen Osmond. Burned 1225 calories.

Ran with the SARRC Guys and Gals along the hills face zone from Chambers Gully around to Mt Osmond Road and back. There wasn't much company to talk to, well, no one felt like talking to me anyway. And i apparently looked like i was struggling according to one old dude walking his dog. I think i need to practice relaxing my face muscles when i run. I put in some effort all the way, but especially on the last down hill as everyone else were being pansies. Should nickname me Captain Chafe Pants though. I'll be walking bow legged for a week.

It was fun, and i felt a lot slower than last week. I got through it though and had a good time. Didn't think i could match my pace along the creek track compared to last week.

Randells and Pony Ridge
7:38 AM. Mitcham. Burned 1020 calories.

Sunday long run this week was a bit of a surprise! The Junior Arrows were assembling at Mitcham Reserve so Fern and I joined in as we were needing to be home early. We went up Randell's a way i've never been and it was interesting. The climb up to Belair Triangle was not as hard as I remembered it. We then ran along the boundary track in Belair and down Pony Ridge. We were slowly (very slowly) passed by two dudes running who should've flown past us seeing as though we climbed Randell's prior. Trotting back along Brown Hill Creek was very pleasant, and I even kept a good pace up!
