What a crap ride. Feeling a little run down. Caught up to a guy in the East Park Lands whom hates the Clipsal 500 works as much as me, in fact he probably hated them more and laughed as he kicked the the stupid guard fences out of the way that force all the cyclists to ride into the sand. Had to yell at some stupid people just standing in the bike lane on KWRd, they were just standing there, oblivious that they were on the road.

Pram Run on a Sunday Morning

Fern was sent off with the group while Paddy and I got our legs moving on a pram run ( I did most of the work....) There are a lot of hills around Bridgewater. But generally moved Paddy and myself towards Aldgate, then up Arkaba and back down Old Mt Barker Road. When i discovered Paddy was still asleep after that loop, i kept going in the other direction down Cox's Creek and back. Breakfast after was entertaining once i plopped Paddy into Simon's and watched the awkwardness ensue.

I woman on a slick roadie passed me just after crossing Cross Road, so I thought i'd match her speed. Found out it was really easy. I passed her once she got tired, and then left her for dead. Thanks mystery person, it was nice that you made my ride easier.

On the ol' Flat Bar Roadie to work after taking off the electric motor. This thing slips along the road quite nicely, but is rather jarry on the wrists without the front suspension. Considering I have a few kerbs to hop, looks as though I have gained speed to have to go slightly further. Probably a speed gain all up.

Plus I got lost in the East Park Lands as a result of the whole mess of temprary fencing and workers for the Mad March "lets stuff up everyones commute on the east of Adelaide" Festivals. Let's see in the East Park Lands at the moment there is the Clipsal 500 track setup, The Garden of Unearthly Delights, Glutony, Schutzenfest (OMG What the hell is this doing in Rymill Park, won't the drunks drown in Rymill Lake?). When it all actually happens, my commute is going to end up detouring via Magill....
