Tonight's excuse for not running was having to front the SA Board of Surveyors to give my final presentation prior to receiving my license to practice as a Cadastral Surveyor. It's done now and i can proudly say that i am a Licensed Surveyor.
Yay for me!
Since Bridget handed in her last assignment today, we all celebrated with Mexican out Fern's and my house! mmm Tacos. (and congrats to Bridget also)

3 Falls Grand Loop

Pleasant evening run up to 3rd Falls and back down again. Felt like i had to run the whole Deep View bit since i was telling Mel to stop walking and run.
Today i think i inadvertantly trolled a post on Attackpoint, wasn't intended, just really bugged me for some reason. Kinda set the mood for my day, until i could leave the office to go for a run.

After the last successful surprise run, we sprung one on Simon and Jenny again. This time we headed to our old stomping ground of Magpie Gully. Quite a pleasant night for it and really enjoyed the run. On the way back up from the dam, we detoured through the "shared use" tracks and only had to give way to Mound 10 Bikers a couple of times. Inadvertently took the wrong track and prematurely ended our run. No one was too sad since the hills seemed killer.

The Usual Loop

Unusually, this loop is done as usually as i would like to to call it the Usual Loop. However, it is a great loop. Saw 2 Koalas and one of them was upside-down in the tree. Felt pretty good the whole time. I like running in Belair.

Dropping Like Flies

Well this was a fizzer. Everyone was dropping off like flies. Simon and Bridget were having a "Tits Morning" (to quote what Simon SMS'd me) so they didn't even make it there. Lauren turned back after about 10min, took my car key to grab her bike, then dissapeared. I turned around about 15min later feeling like crap, hoping to find Lauren with my key, but that was hopeful. Then Fern and Jenny cut it short also. By the time i got back to the car, i hadn't seen Lauren with my key, so proceeded to snooze on the picnic table and bounce the cricket ball that Fern found. Fern and Jenny rocked up and hadn't seen Lauren either, Jenny had to leave pretty quickly 'cos she was in the sh*t with work. So Fern and I sat around thinking up ways of getting our spare key. Which included using the public phone box (they still exist apparently) to reverse charge Simon to come and pick us up. Just after Fern returned from the Phone Box, Lauren came racing down the hill with our key and a lot of apologies.
