SS#1 Bonython Park Course: Long 6.4 km 35 m

Nice night for it, and the Kiosk remained open especially for us. The course started out good, but become just a run after the railway crossing at North Adelaide Station. I was slower than I expected to be, but at least that can be explained by the lack of training lately. Juffy invaded and beat me by 20", even though the full results show 30". I think they were being pretty relaxed with the timing.

Ride with Fern and Sara while Amber continued to work. It was nice to get out of the house and pedal. It was pretty warm and sunny. Saw quite a few Koalas and magpies, but all the other animals seemed to have take shelter somewhere cooler.

Tyson's new tempo loop.

I started off with nobody else.... I haven't run on my own for quite some time, and i kind of enjoyed this. Idecided i should make this a tempo run. then I looked at my watch and decided i should get my average pace under 5:30min/km. Then I thought i should be able to average under 5:00min/km for this loop. So now i have a goal. Got back to the car to see Zed's car parked next to mine, and later found out i only just missed her.

3hr Minigaine

Fern and I did this. We didn't dress up. We didn't have a child to take with us. We didn't have a pram. We weren't novices. And we only visited 4/6 squares. So we only got 30pts of the possible 330 bonus points on offer. So we were screwed from the start. We also didn't choose the "productive" route, instead opting for the more fun running (jogging / walking). I really haven't felt all that fit lately, and i don't know why that is. Well i do, it's because i'm lazy. So Fern had to coerse me a fair bit to keep my Cliff Young Shuffle going. I'm not sure that i liked Rogaining in the CBD, but it was an experience doging shoppers and footpath hoggers.
