Running (Belair) 1:06:08 [3] 10.7 km (6:11 / km) +186m 5:41 / km
max:187

I reckon i'm getting better at this running thing.
Ran from home to the park too! which works out to be an extra 1km each way! Followed the team to the railway line then started the splinter group who were too wussy to keep going. It was a good pace though, and i was happy with my effort.

Running (Glenalta) 1:00:00 [3] 8.2 km (7:19 / km) +172m 6:37 / km
max:192 shoes: Asics Gel Trabuco XI

Run from Hallet Cove to Brighton with the Arrows and SARRC. There were a whole heap of people on the run, and i only ran in one direction. The run followed the Marion Coastal Trail walk, but that has a whole heap of stairs. which accumulated to 172m of climbing! Got a lift back up the hill from Brighton with Simon, Robin and Lauren, so very thankful I didn't have to run back up!

Running hills (Glenalta) 55:00 [3] 8.0 km (6:53 / km) +206m 6:05 / km
max:181 shoes: Asics Gel Kayano XV

A tough second exploratory run from home, this time with Simon, John, Mikey, Jenny. It was good to have Ben and Mace come along too! Turns out the hils didn't get any less steep or plentiful in the past week, we need metamorphosis to work much faster. It is also a long climb from the bottom of Gloucster to the top.

Running long (Mitcham) 1:28:00 [3] 13.0 km (6:46 / km) +322m 6:01 / km
max:183 shoes: Asics Gel Trabuco XI

Ran down to Grange Road to hand over the keys to Eric, the replacement of me for Fern. (that is hard to word). The downhill was good, went through Lynton Quarries all the way down, (which was about 7.5km) then through Randell's back up (which was about 5.5km). The climb back up was much harder than anticipated. My HRM was acting a bit screwy and i never got a decent reading for my HR back up the hill.... Boo. All up a fun run followed by an awesome milkshake made by me.

Running (Belair) 44:38 [3] 8.0 km (5:35 / km) +103m 5:15 / km
ahr:163 max:192 shoes: Asics Gel Kayano XV

Run with Simon, John, Jenny and Lauren. It was fun trying to keep out of the sun running up to Karka Pavilion and Amphitheatre Rock. Can't believe that it was my first visit to that rock. Fun.

Running (Glenalta) 43:00 [3] 6.4 km (6:43 / km)
ahr:146 max:172 shoes: Asics Gel Kayano XV

This was the first exploratory run from my new home. The lads (Simon, Troy and Mike) and i headed off randomly and took on the "penny" tour of the suburbs, pretty much, each intersection we came to someone decided which way to turn. As it hapens there are quite a few hills around here, i might actually get some strong legs. Picked up some takeaway menus on the way for reference only.....
Spent the night watching Bugsy Malone and baking a cake for my birthday at work. Yum.

Running long (Belair) 1:46:56 [4] 14.3 km (7:29 / km) +300m 6:46 / km
ahr:149 max:185 shoes: Asics Gel Kayano XV

It's probably best to see Simon's log to get the best run down of this run (pardon the pun). It was a bit tougher then Thursday night running up the hill, and we were about 4 min slower this time up on my account (or maybe it was the route choice). Tom won the race, but he says it wasn't by a huge margin, so i was happy about that. And i can definitely improve on that effort too. On the way back down John, Troy and Simon got ahead of me and the disappeared. The route chice was to go via the Pony club, so i took the most logical way which followed a steep single track down to the fire tack above the Lower Falls. Apparently the others didn't see my logic. I ran by myself all the way back. I asked the weeding lady if she had seen the others, and she hadn't so at this stage i figured the others had piked and gone straight down.
They caught up just as we were reaching home and i was stuffed. A pretty good time to start moving furniture from Lower Mitcham to Glenalta. Suffice to say i slept well that night.

ahr:173 max:188 weight:87kg shoes: Asics Gel Kayano XV

Well, my second run of 2010 was a little more noteworthy. Ran straight to the top of the park and touched the tap. Felt pretty good. Ran back down through Redwoods and Long Gully. Will be doing this run again on Saturday as it turns out, to try and beat a a mate from work who is going to ride up around the edge of the park. I think it will be close.
Simon impressed us with his park-whore abilities. It's apparently like Park o, but for whores, like Simon.

GPS Battery died near the end of the run.

Hi, my name is Tyson.
I went for my first run in almost a month. It kinda showed. Ran to the bottom of first falls and back to see if my legs still did that thing - run. they do, it was quite a relief.
