Sturt Gorge Loop

Rode with Karl, Slade and Ryan up until Ryan had a bit of an accident. Flying down the De-Rose Trail, Ryan didn't see a set of triple jumps as he was trying to keep with Karl and Slade on their super dualies. He decked out pretty bad. I didn't see the stack, but i heard an almighty thump (which sounded like helmet into rocks. Turns out it was probably shoulder into rocks... Ryan was ok, and he told us to abandon him while he went up to Flagstaff Hill Road. The rest of the ride was extra cautious from me. We saw a snake too.
The Sturt Gorge Trails are pretty technical, and i often have to get off and walk bits. There are also lots of hills, both the up and down kinds. The up kinds go on forever and the down kinds have lots of nasty things hiding for you. This makes it all good fun, though a long ride to complete a full loop.
