Went out at lunch while processors were processing. I ran straight out the door into the rain.... It was nice that there was 1 less detour now with the linear park open again meaning i didn't have to climb 100 stairs. yay.

After Fern's morning Bridgewater run and brunch we let the daughter sleep in the car and took the long road home past here. I thought it looked quite pretty so after making it home, I returned here solo to run around a bit, and it was lovely. I had the place to myself to explore because 1: Who comes to Scott Creek? 2: Who comes to Scott Creek on a wintery day like this? The climb up String Bark Track was easier than expected and the views out were pretty special. I took a spur track on the way back down Shingleback Track just to see what was there. It was a power pylon. Worth it. Could've guessed it too since it was called ETSA spur track.

I shall return to explore more soon.

What an abissmal effort by me.....
Started out with me leaving my compas at the start table. I only had slight abilities to maintain a direction with many drifting off course efforts into the circle then missing the flag all together....
Then lets not mention my efforts in the Gorse.....
It was nice to strech the ol' legs and to read a map. Something i feel i haven't done much of lately.
