Running long (Terrain - Kuitpo) 1:20:25 [4] 10.5 km (7:40 / km)
ahr:150 max:179 slept:6.5 weight:84kg shoes: Asics Trabuco IV

After a crap night sleep with the heat, running wasn't such a high priority, but since i live with an elite orienteer i felt i had to follow. I didn't do so well in the terrain as my ankle really didn't enjoy being jarred so much, i bailed to the tracks. Kept up the pressure on the up hills and kept bumping into the Terrain Runners (led by Simon, so they were having "fun") so in the end i think i covered a bit more of the maps.

Running race (Panorama Street O) 1:02:10 [2] * 7.36 km (8:27 / km) +250m 7:13 / km
ahr:155 max:173 spiked:12/12c slept:8.0 shoes: Gel Kayano

Well, my first summer series race and it was a corker. 39degrees and no chance of a cool break. Tristan set a nice course around Panorama, pity i took it VEEERRRYYY slow because of the heat. I even took a water bottle, but the water boiled before the 2nd control. lets hope it doesn't stay this way for the summer series, i want some good park races!

Running warm up/down (Belair) 24:45 [2] 4.6 km (5:23 / km)
ahr:159 max:187 rhr:55 weight:83kg shoes: Gel Kayano

Usual warm up through Belair with Troy, Brett, Greg and Lauren

Running intervals (200/200x6) 12:00 [5] 1.2 km (10:00 / km)
ahr:159 max:187 rhr:55 weight:83kg shoes: Gel Kayano

6x200m with 200m Recovery. Quite intense, i'm a lot slower than the others, but i'll catch them up, at least i look better in my new running top. I thought my heart was going to stop after the first one.
Roast Dinner with the Merchants, a good end to a hard run.

Running (Morialta) 51:25 [2] 7.18 km (7:10 / km)
ahr:154 max:185 weight:83kg shoes: Asics Trabuco IV

A bloody hot day and attempted to run the usual loop. the hill was actually better then usual, but one of the kids was badly dehydrated so i stuck with him on a shorter option. We almost made it back with no incidents. Fun.

Running (Brownhill Creek) 38:05 [3] 6.58 km (5:47 / km)
ahr:167 max:183 rhr:70 slept:7.0 weight:83kg shoes: Gel Kayano

Run from home to Brownhill Creek, passed the Caravan Park and back down the fun side of the creek, then a steep climb up to Blythewood Road, then followed the train tracks back. good fun. little warm, but that just meant i sweat more.
