MTB hills (Eagle) 1:10:13 [3] 12.3 km (10.5 kph)
ahr:148 max:176

Ride with my bro in eagle. Dropped into the park by Top deck, then Eagle Way to the quarry. Up the first part of North Face to the play area. Had some fun in the play area, didn't fall off anything. Back up North Face to Tunnel Vision. Tunnel vision was hard work but fun as usual. Hawkeye. Southside, which i didn't enjoy too much because of how technical it was. Then dwon the Overlocker, managed to stay on my bike! Blue Gums was awesome fun and the trees stayed where they are meant to. Then back up to the car via top deck. Stopped off at the bike shop to by some gloves and a pair of new tyres. Fun morning out.

Running intervals (Sprint Race Intervals) 28:10 [4] ***** 4.0 km (7:03 / km)
ahr:174 max:190 shoes: Gel Kayano

Sprint Intervals at Aberfoyle Park Schools and Happy Valley Sports Complex. 7 of us doing ultra short sprint orienteering (800m) over 5 different courses. Reverse Chasing start. This meant i started first most of the time. Hard work, especially towards the end. Hot and sweaty. The local footy spectators thought we were wierd. I can understand why.

Running hills (Belair) 49:55 [3] 8.2 km (6:05 / km)
ahr:160 max:177 shoes: Gel Kayano

Ran with Greg, was going to do a Fartlek session, but once we got through the warmup, it was too much effort, so we took a new route almost to Waverly Lodge, then back down a similar route. good fun, and good conversation. Chilli and Cheese kransky was peeking back up for a visit. But i managed to swallow those cheese, chill and mock meat chunks.

Running race (5000m Ttrl) 23:15 [5] ***** 5.0 km (4:39 / km)
ahr:182 max:188 spiked:5/5c shoes: Gel Kayano

2nd 5k time trial. was very nervous going into it considering it was an actual race with other people (not orienteers). It was the masters athletics association, so vanessa was the youngest in the race. I had a handicap of 6'10" while simon had a handicap of 11'30" he still beat me over the line. But i did improve on my previous time trial by a HUGE 15".
