Running (Red Arrow) 42:30 [3] 6.1 km (6:58 / km) +135m 6:16 / km
ahr:151 max:172 shoes: Asics Gel Kayano XV

Quite a large CBF factor this morning. This could be a result of the 93% Relative Humidity, or the few beers i had last night, or my natural rythm of enthusiasm is again low again. Probably all three, forgetting that, it was a hard effort this morning. I hope all this wet tropic training will make my temperate climate run next week a whole lot easier.
Apparently through all my madness i have agreed to do a rogaine on the day i get back to Adelaide, and a team triathalon the day after. I think i must be losing my mind.

Running (Red Arrow) 40:54 [3] 6.1 km (6:42 / km) +134m 6:02 / km
ahr:155 max:172 shoes: Asics Gel Kayano XV

Getting up early for a run is hard. I was awake and all, just not motivated enough. Though i forced my legs up and did my usual run. There aren't any other nice runs like this from my apartment, so this one is my usual. Hopefully a long run tomorrow morning. I was a lot slower heading up to the foot of the hill, but i think i was a bit faster going up. I have definately gained some speed and lost some weight while i've been up here. Another week to go to see how much i can improve in the wet tropics. Watched two 737s take off from the lookout, it is always an awesome sight, and so close you can just about see the faces in the windows. Will never get sick of seeing planes take off.

Running (Red Arrow) 37:38 [3] 6.1 km (6:10 / km) +133m 5:34 / km
ahr:165 max:181 shoes: Asics Gel Kayano XV

Couldn't be bothered getting up at 5:30 to go for a run, so did it at 17:30 instead. Still quite warm and humid but i performed alot better on this lap around. The track was mighty busy tonight, passing another walker or runner every 10 seconds or so, plus all those coming down the anti-clockwise way too. I made the mistake of wearing sunnies, as i reached the dense rainforest i couldn't see much and especially since it was coming on to dusk. Bumped into my boss on the way to the top, he was surprised to see the amount of rainfall coming off my brow. I was too.

Running (Red Trail Loop) 42:10 [3] 6.1 km (6:55 / km) +136m 6:13 / km
ahr:159 max:183

Very early morning lap up the Red Arrow. Missed sunrise at the top by about 10 minutes.... Will try better next time. Plenty of other runners out, as this is really the only suitable time of day to run.
