Woorabinda Reserve
8:12 AM. Bridgewater. Burned 1132 calories.

I was a little flat and tired on this run, i'm sure i was grumpier than usual too. But i did enjoy getting out with the crew to run to the Stirling Railway Dam in Woorabinda Reserve and back. I managed to convince everyone (it was more of a group decision) that the climb to Mt Barker Rd was not required. We saw some Rotweillers and two Newfoundlands on the run. I like the Newfoundlands better than the Rottweilers by far.

Christies Creek West Summer Series
6:34 PM. O'Sullivan's Beach. Burned 619 calories.
Course: Long 5.4 km
Simon set the SS event so it was definitely going to be an interesting course. He had a great big long leg which rally tested out your route choosing skills followed by lots of tricky creek crossing legs too. I pushed pretty hard though had to walk a couple of times on the hills. I was pretty happy with my run all up.

Note

Port Pirie.

It's my birthday. Happy Birthday me. I ended up having a quiet running week but a bloody busy working week. With 4 full days in the field and one of those day marked as an extreme day in the field. That day was this one too. I ended up travelling from Kadina to Port Pirie then a full tough day working follwed by the long drive home. I didn't get home from work until 9pm on my birtday, but thankfully Fern was able to surprise me with cupcakes for dessert. yumm.

Where is it good to run in Kadina?
6:08 PM. Kadina. Burned 477 calories.

This is my second week of my new job and my first visit to the Kadina office of our business. I had a day in the office getting acquainted and re-aquainted with all the procedure i don't know and those i've forgotten. After work i put on my running gear and was goint to do around 40-50min. When i discovered i was already halfway through the town i thought i might need to head back not knowing the orientation of the town. So i turned my 40-50min run into a 5km loop. This was the fastest i've done 5km in for a while. The town is pretty flat with not much in the way of shade or hills. I'll have to keep on exploring to find out nicer places to run around here too.
