Wasn't the best effort on my part today, but i figured i had to try and finish the race in the off chance Simon DNFd and i should default to get some more OY points and beat him in this years standings. As it turns out Simon did DNF, but i still managed a last place. I think i got tired and lazy towards the end. I made stacks of mistakes all day and quite frequently would stop within the circle, have no idea how i got there or where the control is meant to be and then turn around to see the flag behind me looking smug. Really could've done an easier course and enjoyed it a lot more, but at least i should beat Simon in OY now.

Again a run i didn't really need, but felt like doing. I met up with Troy and Brett for a short run and to catch up on all the goss from their holiday. Sounds like fun. Some people just have the genes for running, apparently i don't.

Quick job before sunset to the beach and back. Really didn't need to do this, but i did anyway. It was good to see some people out on the beach playing beach cricket. It was a really nice sunset but i didn't see a green flash.

Torrens Weir Loop

Fern, Bridget, Eric and I wen for a run around the Torrens Lake. It was fast, and we past a lot of people in bright yellow "We Run Adelaide" Tshirts. What are they and why are there so many? I was feeling left out without one on....

Recovery Loop

Fern, Bridgemon and I did the little easy loop to Tory's House and back to keep the legs from getting too sore. Did a little extra at the end to make it up to 5km. I can remember when 5km was a struggle. It was yesterday and i had already done 7km.....:P
