Still feeling the effects of losing 500mL of my finest A+, this run was deifnatley a challenge. The major challenge was crossing Cox's Creek where the old Heysen Trail bridge has washed out and the track is somewaht overgrown. I jokingly said to Simon at Mylor " So only 2km back right?" He said " Closer to 3" Well he wasn't wrong but if i actually said "So only 8km right" I'm pretty sure Simon would've said "Yep." Still even if i was slow it was a pleasant run.

The Tap and Back
3:45 PM. Eden Hills. Burned 543 calories.

Rode with Fern on her shiny bike (newly repaired for the third time in about a month...... ) It was a serious struggle up the hill feeling like my legs were going to fall off, then ZOOOOOOOM. All the way back down the hill again, only slowing down when i realised i couldn't really make the turn over the bridge.... Stayed on my bike, and we kept goting home again!

Shorty Loop

This was the shorty loop, i was feeling drained still from Monday's Blood Letting at Red Cross. It was funny to see Simon and Bridget out!

Edithburgh Cvan Park to Sultana Point return

A pleasant evening jog from the cabin. It was a tough headwind to begin with but since it was an out and back run that meant it was a pleasant tailwind for the return. I made it a little tougher on the way back by following the sand. The sand was quite soft and deep in places.

Hawthorndene Footpaths

Monday night run is always fun. It is even more fun when you are drained from donating blood. This was the case for me, so my pace was sluggish to say the least. I wanted to run up some of the footpaths around Hawthorndene, so we did, the bes one was a really long one back down the hill towards Sturt Avenue. I really enjoyed the run despite being flat as a pancake.
