Verdun to Mylor Blokey Bloke Run (+ Simon)
8:17 AM. Bridgewater. Burned 989 calories.

Bloke Run with John, and we let Simon come too. It was a rather pleasant morning to be out running. Quite a few try hards spotted on their roadies, but none got in our way. The climb out of Cox's Creek was a struggle, but the rest was just joy.
Fun times
Fern met us at the end and we went down to Point Sturt for some more mapping.

The long course. It was advertised as 6km but turned out to be a fair bit more as they normally do. There was one sucky leg which Simon caught me on (#7). Simon slowed down a bit and i sped up a bit to run together. He tried to beat me to the finish line (and he played dirty), but i beat him in the end - that is "Line Honours" for me, he beat me convincingly on the course.

Foreshore tour
6:10 PM. Wallaroo. Burned 693 calories.

Ran from the house and around the marina to the foreshore and past the Jetty. I was able to admire the niew works on the foreshore road that we have been involved with. It was a pretty tough head wind to my turn around point. There was a few bogans out deciding that they'd like me to hear how "sick" their engines sounded, i decided that they were douchebags....

Modified Short Hilly Loop
6:39 PM. Eden Hills. Burned 414 calories.

Took the crew on the new loop that Fern and I discovered, and added a bit more on the end which didn't end up making the run any longer. So a short one, but that was perfectly fine with me! Legs not feeling nearly as fatigued as you would expect after yesterday's effort.
