40th Annual City to Bay Fun Run
8:00 AM. Adelaide. Burned 1110 calories.

I wasn't really prepared for a fast run this year, but i still pulled off a decent enough time for a fat bastard. I didn't go out too strong or fast, but i did see quite a few zoom past me whom i trotted passed them again later on the course. The first 6km was pretty easy, and i made it to this point before the stampede of 6km runners started. By the 8km mark i was really feeling it, and was wishing the end was nearer, but i kept my slowish pace going until Jetty Road where a jolt of energy kicked in and a crossed the line with a smile and a wave. Saw heaps of orienteers either on the run or spectating which was always better because they could cheer for me!

Night ruuning causes darkness
6:45 PM. Hawthorndene. Burned 512 calories.

Ran with Bridgemon into the forest where we thought it'd be fun to run with our light only flashing.... Interesting idea. Then we ran back through the random streets of Hawthorndene. We had good discussion on Sprint Series and the program now sounds fun.
