Tanemerah Road Loop

First long run in quite some time (i always say that...) It was agreat morning to be out and the 6 of us went on a favourite loop of mine. My pace was perfect for what i wanted to achieve and i was able to run the majority of the loop. Bridget and I were singing playschool songs (like Highland Goat, and The Scarecrow song) while the oters were zooming off ahead.

Saturday Belair Bike Ride
10:00 AM. Hawthorndene. Burned 554 calories.

Fern and I went out for a bike ride. I was feeling a little unenthused, but followed suit all the same. I was sooooo sluggish up QJub and Fern left me in a wake of dust from her speedy tyres. We decided to head bcak down from the tap and drop into Blackwood Foodland on the way home. I found this tough. Will have to make up for it with a run this afternoon.

Karka Run
6:20 PM. Belair NP. Burned 880 calories.

Ran with the crew up to Long Gully Kiosk then Bridgemon turned back. Feeling like that would be slack I pushed the rest of us onto Karka. I was feeling so flat for the majority of the run, probably because of the effort from Tuesday still, and because of the three full field days this week.

3 Falls Grand Loop
6:03 PM. Morialta. Burned 758 calories.

Run with Bridgemon and the kids for the first time (for the kids) around Morialta. They are a great bunch of kids and quite tough. The run was fun and quite hard work up to Deep View. As all the boys, Liv and I continued up to Third Falls, we all had to step around a Koala who was being quite stubborn and not moving off the track. Warm night for it too.

Franks Smith and Forest

Ran with Simon and the girls, or is that the girls including Simon? Down (or rather up and down) to Frank Smith, then back up to the Forest. Bumped into Lexie and Mike after about a minute of running, then proceeded to chat to them for about 10min, they are nice people. Simon and I ran and talked about how poor the Surveying Industry is and Simon was telling me how good the manufacturing engineering industry is.
I was in Strugglesville, or is the Struggle Town, or perhaps Struggle Street, this whole run with my legs feeling the pain of a big weekend of physical activity.
