Mt Crawford Forest Minor Event Course: 3 6.6 km 125 m

A traditional event! Very minor except for full SI, and it was a pleasure to be so casual. It was apparent it was going to be a runners course, and it was! I'm not a runner much. Fern caught me by the end even with Vern's assistance with a push up the hill. Got mighty wet as the creeks were flowing, and cold too, ~8degrees at the start and the finish. The Bakery and hot chocolate were very welcome afterwards.

QJub Ride

Rode with Fern up Queen Jubilee road and back down. Hadn't tried my bike since i had the cranks and rings replaced. Very smooth now, needs a couple of tweaks. There doesn't seem to be any problems with the bike after the carport incident.

Monday Run

Ran with a team of Ladies. I was feeling lazy and un-motivated and just cruised. I kept watching my watch and saw that i wasn't far off of 6min/km so with about 1km to go i decided to punch it and see if i could get in in 6min/km. Lauren was up for the challenge and she paced me. I didn't make it. But i feel like it made tonights run a worthwhile effort.
