2013 Asthma Foundation Take A Breather 6 Hour Rogaine Course: 6hr Rogaine

Entered this with John from work (and past rogaine partner). It was going to be a tough day with strong winds and rain and 6degrees when getting out of the car. We set out on a slightly ambitious route but it had scope to cut short when needed later on. We underestimated the steepness of 10m contours on the 1:20 000 map and found ourselves trudging up some pretty steep grades - but then again there were no flat options. I hadn't been in this part of the hills before (other than Lachlan's 18th and i was drunk) and it did offer some very scenic outlooks and pretty forest. We ended up not completing our planned route due to legs fading very fast and got back in time to enjoy the curries put on by Spice Kitchen. We got beaten by our boss for the first time in our rogaine careers. I'm sure we will hear about that on Monday...

We ended up 25th overall with about 160 teams, we are happy with that. Our score was 970 so only just missed out on the ton.

Ran with Jenny, Fern and Greg. Greg and I wandered off from the ladies since they were being uber keen. It was a relatively pleasant run!
