Lady Alice Minor Event

I chickened out on the course 2 and opted for the course 3 instead. Wise move I'd say. Took a little while to get back into the bush navigation, but Lady Alice is pretty stock standard Gully Spur, so didn't have many difficulties. The biggest wobble was on the way into #16 where i had absolutely no idea when to leave the track for the control. I took an "educated" guess and ended up short about 50m, so that wasn't too bad really, Actually the GPS track looks like i was headed straight for the control, and i decided that an aim off approach would work better. Yes, lets call it that. Enjoyed the day out!

Belair Morning Run

Met Troy at the park entrance and we went for a bit of a trot around the flatter bits of the park. I was slower than Troy despite him having about 7 weeks off running.... Discussed the usual dad stuff, work stuff, food stuff, all while enjoying the crisp blue sky and singing birds. Hell, it was suc a nice morning, even the Emus were singing.

Managed to escape the office to go for a run. Didn't feel overly fast, though much faster than if I was running in the hills. I was going to turn back towards the office at Frome Road, but was feeling good so kept going to the Uni Bridge. That probably didn't actually add much more time or distance in the end.
