Hike 3:00:00 [2] 6.2 mi (29:02 / mi)

Had a nice low key hike. Felt a little out of shape due to my recent laziness, but it was on a pretty steep hill. Kind of feel like I'm getting out of my slump but we'll see. Have been sleeping really poorly and that affects me a lot - it just kills my motivation and makes me stressed out. Also just bit off more than I could chew in terms of juggling things lately but I'm working on that.

Strength Training 20:00 [2]

ATW/dead bug

Note

no time for a run this day - stayed up way too late last night with friends, had two chais and couldn't sleep at all - sucked. overslept/had crazy day with too much stuff going on.

Note

I do have to say though, this run destroyed my thanksgiving appetite! I ran right before dinner and usually I am champ - first one up for seconds! I could barely even finish my first plate this time! :(

Running 58:00:00 [3] 6.6 mi (8:47:15 / mi)

Sprinted every 15 minutes for 15 seconds. Was a good amount to enable adequate recovery time. Knees felt ok! Not amazing, but no real pain. I'm wondering if it's because my thighs felt less tight as well. The other day they were super tight and my knee hurt when I ran. Gave myself a 10 minute cool down walk after, not included in time.

Yoga 1:00:00 [2]

focused on king pigeon pose - I'm getting closer to the full pose which is a good thing/NOT easy for me :)

Running 42:00 [3] 4.6 mi (9:08 / mi)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Ascend 4

Cut this run short by 3 minutes so I could squeeze in some extra walking at the end (walking not included in mileage or time). It was an easy run but my knees were BOTH bothering me. Something that has been happening off and on but I've been kind of ignoring because I'm sick of worrying about injuries. Pain was pretty low though. I did realize after the fact that the right knee (one with tendonitis) hurt way less when I switched sides of the road on my run and it was the leg closer to the road. Which was kind of interesting/must have to do with the way the road slants I guess. Focused on hills - there was only one big one. Not a bad run.
