This was supposed to be a hike but due to freezing rain all day (with snow already on the ground) I opted for an hour on the elliptical instead.

My knee noticeably hurt... definitely overworked it at yoga the night before. Winter is officially here, too. Ice and snow covered sidewalks, fun times. At least I snuck out of work early today and got to start my run while it was light. Also I don't know how the hell my times are so fast lately but I'm using google maps for my distances and yeah, guess I'm going faster than I feel. Either that or my watch is lying to me!

Yoga 1:30:00 [2]

My yoga teacher tends to push us quite a bit, and although I try to ease into things my knee hurt afterwards. He was having us focus on extending through the back leg, also doing a lot of work with the big and little toes. But I have noticed that when we emphasize the legs my knee tends to get fussy.

Shoes sucked because I destroyed the back heel on them by being lazy taking them on/off - other than that not much to report. Work is insane/stressful and I've been running in the dark due to not being able to do the morning thing. Just saw my dr and she prescribed sleeping pills - which I didn't want... but I am tired of being so exhausted/hope it helps.

Felt pretty good on my run. Feel like I am moving relatively slow but am happy with my time.
