yoga (vinyasa flow - Nicole ) 1:15:00 [3]

10 minutes before the class i didn't want to go, and thought to myself "well it will be warm and I can take a nap." Instead, it was one of my best classes -- it was hard (my arms are tired from the drills/swimming this AM) and I sweat a lot but it was also easier for me to get into poses that I had initially struggled with when I started yoga in Aug. I felt really good about that progress! it also stretched out my right hip and right thigh which had been really tight since I slipped yesterday.

packed morning class. barky instructor w/ old music was the fill-in -- but i learned to appreciate him because he tells you the RPM speed and gear you should be in for every activity.

swimming (pyramid ) 30:00 [2] 1200.0 km (2 / km)

Not really sure on total time.
Here's the workout i did:
2 x 100 - warmup
100-200-400-200-100 pyramid, 30 sec rest

no specific drills, but practiced patient hand, which is making a difference.

yoga (flow + restorative ) 1:15:00 [3]

ugh. this class was hard. less flow, more twist. lots of strength-based poses. it was painful! i was worn out at the end -- and there were a lot of poses that i couldn't do well / was shaking while doing - or couldn't do! that was a little frustrating...but good to. I think over time I will like this class a lot more because it is hard in a whole different way. I just don't want to throw up. I was pretty worn out that during the corpse pose at the end I fell asleep for a few moments. woah!

my strength during the class is getting better. I felt like i made progress on "getting through" class and I also did a good low-pushup in the chataranga position. I'm still not very flexibile though.

Making progress -- improved chataranga, better endurance. still struggling though...but it is warm!
