On Mt. Toby (800'), snowstorm just getting going. Last 30 minutes were a bit tricky as the new snow had covered all the ice - even being careful I went sprawling once, and almost several more times.
On Brandywine Creek map in Wilmington. Around and about, including part of night O' course from 1999 (had to go see where I cracked my ribs). 10 degrees and windy, but a very fine outing.
Up Mt. Toby and back (1100' climb) via N. Mt. trail. Walked last couple of minutes, didn't quite have enough willpower. May be the end of bare ground for a while...
SMAC fun run, Shutesbury hills (1000' climb). Weird day, rain, strong southerly winds, temps fluctuating between 35 and 60 depending on where the cold pockets were. Last day outside in shorts for a while?
400, 800, 1600, 800, 400, all at about 6:00 pace. Recovery (400 or 800) at about 7:30 pace. Good effort. With Phil Bricker (much easier with company!).
