Over to the gate on the race course. Had planned to come back the same way, but it was very wet, plus I was suffering from intestinal distress, so I cut down to the river and came back on the road the last 2 miles. Relaxed pace, felt ok except for my gut.

Westfield half marathon. Not too bad (goal was 95 minutes), but just don't have any speed in the legs. Thought I was cooked with 3 or 4 miles to go, but managed to finish OK after a weak spell between 10 and 11. Overall, a lot of work, not much to show for it.

Looked back at my records. Ran this course in 1:24:45 five years ago, and 1:22:45 six years ago (at age 51). Seems like a long time ago.
