Loop in the Conway hills, up past Cosby's estate, flat to start and finish, very hilly in the middle. About 30 miles. Got out before the rain. Felt tired, didn't kill myself.

Need some new bike shorts. My rear is getting chewed up in a couple of places....

Shutebury - Lake Wyola loop (26 miles), dying on the long hill up to Shutebury, as expected. Didn't have much zip in general, but forecast is rain for the weekend so had to get out.

First dry day in a while. Three bridges loop, 22 miles. New bike is really nice, but I still suck going up hills. Aches from the weekend getting better, even though my ribs are still pretty tender.

Relay. Harder steadier effort, since I had Karen starting at the same time and ego wouldn't allow me to walk as much as usual. Good run. My routes.

Day 2 at Rockhouse. Much better. My routes. Still falling a lot, and got tired towards the end, but had some energy for most of the course.

Team Trials day 1 at Surebridge (not running in the trials, but running the same course). My routes. Not a good day. Landed hard on a rock on my right quad on the way down the hill to #11 and it got stiffer and more painful by the minute. Lucky I was almost done when it happened.

Late afternoon ride in the hills west of the valley -- Whately, Haydenville, Goshen, Ashfield, Conway, S. Deerfield. Not sure why I went so far as I was tired from yesterday, plus I'd already squeezed in a quick 18 holes early in the morning. Totally beat/dehydrated by the time I was done.

Training at My Conway State Forest. Warm day, got pretty tired. Been fighting a cold too. But it was a nice area with some good woods ... had only run on the trails there before.

Long O' (5 years ago this wouldn't have seemed at all long, but things change...). Almost no warm-up, had decided to start out gently. Ran "gently" the whole way, just trying to keep moving as efficiently as possible. My routes.
