Sunday Nov 3

trail running 10:00 [3] 1.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
Another proper warm-up.
orienteering 47:39 [4] 6.5 km (7:20 / km) +240m 6:11 / km
Felt good again, never tired, and the hills up out of 7 and up to 11 felt easy. Hesitating less than yesterday except for from 5 to 6 when I was doing it on purpose.

My routes and some comments.

A fine weekend, great job by Quantico. Only downside was the long drive home. Got home after midnight, spent all day Monday at a tax seminar and by late afternoon was having a hard time staying awake....

GreenX - Splits

Saturday Nov 2

trail running 10:00 [3] 1.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
A proper warm-up in the woods (for once!). Actually, it helps in a way other loosening up the legs and lungs - gets me used to my one-contact system, so when the race starts I am literally better focused.
orienteering 45:54 [4] 5.75 km (7:59 / km) +290m 6:22 / km
Felt pretty good physically, walked 5 times up short steep slopes (maybe 30-40 meters each), ran the last part well.

My routes and some comments.

GreenX - Splits

Thursday Oct 31

trail running 32:01 [2] 3.5 mi (9:08 / mi)
Up to the power line and back.

Tuesday Oct 29

biking 1:23:17 [3]
Greenfield, Turners Falls. Cold (low 40s) and windy. Could tell I haven't been biking much recently (tired legs, sore butt).

Monday Oct 28

Note
Travel back from Austin. Watched a couple of soccer games, Texas beat Kansas and Missouri. A lot of fun. My brother's kid is good, a lot of nerve.
