Tuesday Mar 16

trail running 1:06:41 [4]8.0 mi (8:20 / mi)
ahr:150 max:168
Race course over to the gate and back. Got out early before the snowstorm. Almost all bare ground (for a few more hours...), just a little ice. Good hard effort, legs felt good.

Sunday Mar 14

road running 59:43 [3]7.0 mi (8:31 / mi)
Fun run from Graham Warder's in Shelburne Falls. Had a very pleasant relaxed run on the roads with him, catching up on old times.....
trail running 54:38 [3]
.... then did the trail up Massamett Mountain (up 1100' in 21:20, some ice, mostly bare ground), down the other side to Davenport's Sugar House (would have been nice to stop for pancakes and maple syrup), then back up to the top (400' in 9:18, all still snowpack) and back down to Graham's. Tired legs and lots of heavy breathing.
