Event: Billygoat

Note
Well, seems like I'm going to the Billygoat after all. Phil needs someone to drive him home.

Friday May 18

run/hike 47:33 [3]
weight:134lbs shoes: Pegasus 08/06
Same as Monday, but quicker, breathing hard on the way up even though I was walking, and working a bit harder on the way down too. 9:57 to start of climb, 15:18 up, 22:18 run back on the jeep trail.

Otherwise getting lots of non-logged rogaine practice.

Skipping the Billygoat. If I showed up I would probably try to walk/jog it, and there's no sense in hurting the hamstring again with a rogaine next weekend.

Monday May 14

run/hike 50:33 [2]
weight:134.5lbs shoes: Pegasus 08/06
Same as last Wednesday, brisk walk from the gate to the start of the PLPC (10:03), then up the PLPC to the top (15:59), then run back slowly down the jeep trail (24:31). Felt ok while doing it, but will see how things feel tomorrow.

Plus 20 pushups. Alternating these with pull-ups, 8 of them yesterday.

AOWN report: got the season's first skeeter bite.

Sunday May 13

biking 2:11:28 [3]34.3 mi (3:50 / mi)
weight:135lbs
Hamstring was acting up Friday, so I took a couple days off.

Nice ride with Jeff and Samantha, pace was just right, not too hard, not too easy. Whately, Conway, Old Deerfield, home via River Road after we parted ways at the south end of Greenfield (they were heading for a family bash). Beautiful day, but breezy.
