From the bottom of Whately Glen Road, thought I would see if it was runnable, plus it's reasonably protected from the wind. It was runnable, but only up to the top of the first hill, after that it hadn't been plowed. Surely runnable for anyone stronger/younger, but not me, not today.

So back down with a very short detour to check out a snowmobile trail, also too soft for me.

Back to the car much sooner than expected, so decided that 5 times up the first little hill would make it a sufficient enough outing that I could go home without embarrassment. 1:45, 1:42, 1:41, 1:40, and 1:36 for the ups.

Saw several bikers out, hardy souls.

Boston odds: starting - 50%, finishing - 25%, finishing under 4 - 10%. This has been a decent week.

Running is going OK, now if the sciatica would also behave....

Snowmobile trails in Conway. First time this year on them. Conditions were pretty good, just a little soft and slippery where the sun had hit them more.

As for my running, well, if you put it in a low enough gear, you can run up quite a few hills.
