40F, W20-25 in general, direction and speed was really variable. Went out early since it's supposed to get colder and windier as the day goes on, and so far only small branches were coming down.

Low energy, it seemed.

And glad I got out when I did, since it is now snowing....

low 50s, S 10-15 mph. Didn't really feel like going out, but rain is coming so it seemed now or never. Roads were wet but not enough to throw a spray.

When it's windy there is always a choice of suffer now or suffer later. Chose the latter, headed north. The last few miles were less fun.

Upper 50s, S 5 mph, sunny. The plan was to take it easy, but I failed on the stretch in the middle over a few small hills. But the first and last parts were done properly.

More biking for the first two months of the year than I would have thought possible. And mostly in very tolerable conditions.

biking - red bike 47:10 intensity: (45 @1) + (15:55 @2) + (23:47 @3) + (6:35 @4) + (8 @5) 12.44 mi (3:47 / mi) +389ft 3:41 / mi
ahr:135 max:161

Enough time to get out after a brief trip to New York City, and have to take advantage of the nice days this time of year.

50F, S 10 mph, sunny, finished just as the sun was setting. Certainly seems easier without the puffy jacket and a second pair of tights.

And even cleaned the chain, it was needed, though the rest of the bike continues to have a good covering of sand.
