4 PM

biking - dark blue bike 59:34 [2] 14.21 mi (4:11 / mi) +345ft 4:06 / mi
weight:142.5lbs

Mid-30s, sunny, W 10-15. Just felt cold. Didn't rate real high on the "Did I enjoy it?" scale.

Saturday Mar 16 #

10 AM

biking - dark blue bike 1:03:07 intensity: (54 @1) + (23:18 @2) + (36:29 @3) + (2:26 @4) 15.33 mi (4:07 / mi) +536ft 3:59 / mi
ahr:132 max:156 weight:142.5lbs

Back to more normal March weather, low 40s, cloudy and windy, W 20+. Leverett loop, moderate effort but still more than I intended.

Friday Mar 15 #

2 PM

biking - dark blue bike 58:11 intensity: (57 @1) + (42:54 @2) + (14:20 @3) 14.76 mi (3:57 / mi) +317ft 3:52 / mi
ahr:124 max:144 weight:142lbs

Mid to upper 50s, more sun than clouds, S 10-15. Pretty nice out. And because there are still snowbanks along the roads and there was lots of melting today, the theme for the day was splish-splash. :-)

Thursday Mar 14 #

4 PM

biking - dark blue bike 57:10 intensity: (49 @1) + (16:18 @2) + (36:48 @3) + (3:15 @4) 14.69 mi (3:54 / mi) +426ft 3:47 / mi
ahr:133 max:158 weight:142lbs

Low 50s, sunny, S about 10. Not hard to take. No tights for the first time in a while. Loop over to Whately, so a few small hills, but mostly flat.

Lots of puddles....

Tuesday Mar 12 #

1 PM

biking - dark blue bike 1:01:25 intensity: (58 @1) + (24:31 @2) + (34:38 @3) + (1:18 @4) 15.32 mi (4:01 / mi) +519ft 3:53 / mi
ahr:131 max:156 weight:142lbs

Leverett loop, so a few hills. About 40, NW about 15, sunny. Nice loop with a NW wind because you get help for the first few miles, and don't seem to get hurt as much later on.

Easy to start, then progressively harder effort. Not so bad.

Monday Mar 11 #

3 PM

biking - dark blue bike 51:34 intensity: (51 @1) + (42:10 @2) + (8:33 @3) 12.14 mi (4:15 / mi) +102ft 4:13 / mi
ahr:123 max:147 weight:142lbs

Mid-40s, sunny, wind W 10-20+. Lots of melting, lots of water on the roads.

Not dogging it, but also not in any particular hurry.

Main wildlife sighting was a rather small escaped pig. It must have spotted me first, because when I saw it, it was already racing back to its pen, or at least to the outside of its pen.

About the size of Barney, though somewhat different proportions. As far as fragrance, powerful as Barney's is, I'm guessing he might have to settle for second place. He might also have to settle for second place in speed. The pig was really moving.
