Note

Back to the eye doctor, good news. Pressure pre-op was 15 (10-20 is normal range), 45 on Friday, back to 12 today. Eye has certainly been feeling better. It was hurting every time I changed what I was looking at by moving the eye (instead of moving my head), so for example if I wanted to see what time it was, I was trying to remember to lift the watch up in front of my face instead of looking down. But that seems all resolved.

Vision is definitely better, 20/40. The other one can get to 20/30, sort of, with lots of effort. There is still a noticeable difference between the two, but way less than there was.

Anyway, the doc thought that much improvement in 11 days was much better than expected. The question, of course, is what happens over the next 6 months. But it surely is better to get off to a good start.

Next visit is in three weeks. I didn't ask about any restrictions on activity, but then I'm in no rush. Proper exercise will happen when it happens. If for no other reason than there has to be at least one AP log that I look at that isn't trying to carry on with training despite all sorts of ailments. :-)

Note

Must be getting a run in before the snow comes --
